This role offers a chance to work in a flexible environment, with a hybrid schedule that allows for 2 days a week in the office. You will be part of a collaborative and friendly team that values flexibility, engagement, and a positive working environment that supports a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Take a leading role in managing projects and mentoring junior members of the Planning team.
- Promote sites for residential and commercial developments through the local plan process.
- Prepare and coordinate planning applications, including drafting supporting statements.
- Prepare fee proposals and manage project budgets.
- Liaise with internal and external technical specialties, clients, and local planning authorities.
- Assess the potential of sites for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints.
- Town Planning private sector experience.
- Full driving license and use of own vehicle.
- Experience in the Environmental/renewable energy sector.
- Experience across both public and private sectors.
- Project management experience.
