Technical Lead – Viral Operations Management

Position Overview

Join our workforce in a production laboratory environment where you will apply mammalian cell culture methodologies. Your role will encompass coordinating workflow processes, maintaining machinery, and ensuring adherence to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing procedures for the production of bulk viral antigens
  • Managing equipment for downstream processing
  • Supporting a team in meeting GMP compliance
  • Engaging in special initiatives aimed at continuous enhancement

Qualifications and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and relevant experience in biological production or sterile manufacturing are preferred.

Technical Skills and Competencies

Fundamental mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with knowledge of bioreactors/fermenters and sterile practices are advantageous.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in diverse environments and lift up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
