About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Production Operative. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the sand-casting process in our foundry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
  • Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
  • Moving moulds following casting
  • Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
  • Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders

Requirements:

  • A background in manufacturing, factory, production, or construction
  • Physical fitness, as the role entails manual handling and long periods of standing

Working Hours:

38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
