About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with ASC, autism, and ADHD, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and trained professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, facilitating students' access to education and promoting their well-being.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Psychology or a related field from a UK University.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
