The role requires knowledge of agriculture legislation, policy, and best practice guidance, as well as experience working on large cross-country infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the project delivery team and other project subcontractors and consultancy teams to ensure landowners' requirements are communicated and managed during the construction works. The role also involves correspondence with land agents, landowners, local authorities, and associated works contractors, as well as the preparation of notices and other formalities for entry onto private land. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural operations, land drainage, and environmental policies, and will be able to provide landowner and agricultural advice to project staff and project consultants as required. The role offers a company car, company pension, cycle to work scheme, free or subsidised travel, health and wellbeing programme, on-site parking, and private medical insurance.
