We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Community Staff Nurse to join our team in the Community Children's Nursing Service. As a Rotational Children's Community Nurse, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with short-term and long-term health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care to children and young people in their own homes, schools, and community settings.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct initial assessments and triage of patients with short-term health care needs, and provide continuity of care for children on caseload.
- Participate in the provision, storage, and administration of medicines, including intravenous therapy, in accordance with Trust guidelines and policies.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to support children with complex health care needs.

Person Specification- RN Child qualification
- Experience of nursing children with acute/short-term health needs
- Experience of nursing children with long-term conditions, complex needs, and disabilities
- Experience of interagency working and effective collaboration with professionals from other disciplines
- Ability to interact well with children, parents, carers, and other professionals
- Technical nursing skills related to technology-dependent children, including tracheotomies, central lines, enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, and intravenous medications
