Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Domestic Gas Engineer to join our client's Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and basic pipe installations in domestic social housing properties.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be friendly and approachable, and have a strong work ethic. They will be required to cover a range of day-to-day and planned repairs, working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and basic pipe installations in domestic social housing properties
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and other trades
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, meeting health and safety regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years gas experience
  • Sound experience and ACS qualified with CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG, and CPA1
  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Heating/Ventilation is essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS check required
