Key Responsibilities
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all drivers and vehicles comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct thorough and accurate incident investigations
- Human Resources
- Manage HR processes, including sickness and absence, grievance and disciplinary procedures
- Recruit and select drivers and Traffic office team members
- Logistics and Operations
- Manage the Service, Inspection, and repair of the fleet
- Conduct monthly depot audits
- Lead by example in promoting a safe and compliant working environment
- Performance Management
- Manage driver performance and implement corrective measures
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change to streamline the operation
- Leadership and Communication
- Provide general leadership and direction to the transport team
