Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Corporate Security Operations Center (SOC) team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for identifying and responding to security threats, managing cybersecurity controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents, including phishing attempts, malware infections, and unauthorized access.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis of security events to determine root causes and recommend effective remediation actions.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including incident playbooks, response plans, and overall security procedures.
  4. Own and execute projects independently, owning and running incidents from start to finish.
  5. Collaborate with Cloud Operations and IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of our infrastructure.
  6. Support knowledge sharing across the organization to ensure processes and projects meet internal and external security policies and compliance requirements.
  7. Provide guidance and support to junior team members and other departments on security-related matters.
Requirements
  1. Ideal candidate will have a degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
  2. Cybersecurity certifications like Sec+, GSEC, SSCP or one of the AWS or Azure Security Engineering certifications preferred.
  3. Solid understanding of IAM, network, and cloud technologies, Windows & Linux operating systems, and cybersecurity best practices.
  4. Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability scanners.
