Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from cradle to grave, working closely with MEP engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical packages from inception to completion
- Collaborate with MEP engineers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Lead a team of skilled MEP individuals to deliver projects successfully
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential issues
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A mechanical bias, with experience managing mechanical or electrical packages
- Previous experience working in a sub-contractor role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
