About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join our team at Linklife Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and meeting performance targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing products based on customer orders with precision and efficiency.
- Recording batch numbers and key information on orders with accuracy.
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods in a timely manner.
- Inspecting goods for accuracy, quality, and quantity to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Packaging and labelling products for dispatch with attention to detail.
- Assisting with the processing and recording of customer returns in a professional manner.
- Ensuring inventory tasks are completed daily to maintain a smooth operation.
- Loading and unloading vehicles such as lorries and vans safely and efficiently.
- Labelling and organising stock in the warehouse to optimize storage and retrieval.
- Safely operating forklifts and pallet trucks (if qualified) to facilitate efficient movement of goods.
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote a safe and healthy working space.
- Assisting with stock-taking and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Performing additional duties as required by management to support the team's goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picker/packer role is a plus, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic IT skills for recording data.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet trucks is desirable.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Able to drive due to the location.
