Are you an Educator in Scientific Studies dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of students? We are seeking an exceptional Educator to join our team at Ashley Park School.
As an Educator in Scientific Studies, you will employ innovative teaching methods tailored to the diverse educational needs of students, ensuring the effective delivery of the curriculum in a manner that maximizes student achievement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure high-quality instruction, optimal resource utilization, and improved learning outcomes for all students in collaboration with the Headteacher/Senior Lead for curriculum and learning.
- To instruct a variety of skills and techniques necessary for the effective implementation of the school's Science curriculum.
- To contribute to the advancement of the Science program with a positive impact across the school.
Required Knowledge and Understanding
- Strategies that pertain to the education and personal growth of students with special educational needs, including effective behavior management techniques and opportunities for recognition and reward.
- Implementation of the school's vision, aims, priorities, targets, curriculum policies, and action plans in relation to classroom practice.
- Statutory curriculum requirements and the obligations for assessment, recording, and reporting of student progress and attainment.
- The characteristics of high-quality teaching and learning, along with strategies to enhance and maintain high standards of educational delivery leading to success for all students.
- The implications of the special educational needs code of practice for teaching and learning.
Qualifications
Educated to Post Graduate Cert Ed/QTS level, you will possess a calm demeanor, engaging personality, resilience, and an innovative teaching style, driven by a commitment to helping every student reach their full potential.
