Key Responsibilities

The Finance Operations Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts department. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily reconciliation of invoices with purchase orders, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Inputting overhead and administrative invoices on a daily basis.
  • Allocating supplier direct debit payments each day.
  • Coding and processing employee expense claims.

Additional tasks will encompass:

  • Management of sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Coding and entering credit card transactions.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and handling multi-currency transactions.
  • Processing payment runs and preparing documentation for bank authorization.
  • Issuing remittance advice.
  • Managing subcontractor CIS.
Team Collaboration

In addition to the core responsibilities, the successful candidate will assist the team with Accounts Receivable tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Proficient in Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Understanding of foreign currency transactions.
  • Familiarity with IT accounting systems; knowledge of Access Dimensions is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to resolve queries effectively, demonstrating patience and clarity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the work environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office setting, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • High level of numeracy and meticulous attention to detail.
