We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to join our team at Retirement Villages Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planting and maintenance of flowers, plants, and trees to create vibrant and welcoming green spaces.
  • Perform regular watering, pruning, and weeding to ensure our gardens are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Maintain lawns, hedges, and other green areas to create a visually appealing environment.
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools to ensure efficient and effective gardening practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of landscaping projects to enhance the overall aesthetic of our outdoor spaces.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure our gardens meet the expectations and preferences of our residents.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform gardening tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden maintenance.
