About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join our team at a prestigious boutique hotel in London. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our high standards of service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of waiters/waitresses and ensure that service is prompt and professional.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to at all times.
- Train and develop the team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service.
- Promote good team spirit and build strong relationships with team members and guests.
- Control accurate billing and ensure that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of licensing laws and health and safety legislation.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary up to £41,500 per year, plus benefits and training opportunities.
