Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Archive Coordinator Ftc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our role in the FAIRsFAIR project, developing practices for ensuring that data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and re-usable (FAIR) towards the development of a European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage standards and best practice development for data curation and preservation
- Mentor support in achieving trustworthy digital repository status through the CoreTrustSeal
- Lead on the development of a network of trusted repositories
- Define and deliver best practice information and change management solutions within the UK Data Service
- Provide leadership within the technical services team in designing and documenting processes and systems
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in research infrastructure, repositories, preservation data use, and data curation
- Experience in leading and administering projects, meetings, and events
- Ability to research and integrate information from multiple sources
- IT literacy and experience with technical information systems, workflows, licensing, and contracts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy environment
