Job Title: Lecturer/Assessor in Electrical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer/Assessor in Electrical to join our team at Bath College. As a key member of our Electrical department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as assessing their progress and providing feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching programs in Electrical, including classroom and workshop theory and practical teaching.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Apprenticeships and Head of Departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality Electrical provision.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials, schemes of work, and assessment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your teaching and assessment skills.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade C or above.
  • A nationally recognized qualification, at least to level 3, or equivalent, in an Electrical discipline.
  • 18th Edition, 2nd Amendment qualification.
  • TAQA Assessor Award (or willingness to work towards).
  • Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards).
