Join Our Team as a Bearing Assembly Specialist

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is a dynamic global technology company with a strong presence in the aerospace and industrial sectors. We are seeking a skilled Bearing Assembly Specialist to join our team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and inspect bearing part numbers, including complex and flight-critical bearings.
  • Set up and operate bearing assembly and measuring equipment, including radial play units, flushness and contact angle measurement units, riveting equipment, and staking presses.
  • Perform advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve production and process issues.
  • Monitor production process and perform routine maintenance to ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
  • Perform inspections on own work using precision measuring equipment to assess quality.
  • Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS, and other production tracking systems.
  • Train other operators as needed and may be required to work in other departments or set up processes for others to operate.
  • Ability to read and interpret production prints and requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures.
  • Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Demonstrated competency at Assembler level
  • Knowledge of production and quality systems
