As a Bank Cook at Hutton Park Care Home, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving hot and cold meals to our residents. You will work closely with the Head Chef to plan menus that provide a balanced and nutritious diet, making the most of fresh ingredients.

You will maintain accurate records of food supplies, freezer, and fridge temperatures, and ensure stock rotation. You will also assist in ordering stocks and checking deliveries, and check and value stocks as required by the Head Chef.

In addition, you will ensure statutory Health & Safety standards are met in the kitchen and dining areas, and that all crockery and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.

You will be a team player, with good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will have a City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
