We are seeking an Access Management Specialist to assist the Chief Information Security Officer in overseeing and reporting on Identity and Access Management (IAM) across Technology Services and Business divisions.
The Access Management Specialist will be responsible for implementing access controls, including user access assessments, provisioning and de-provisioning user accounts, and managing role-based access controls (RBAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate access for new hires, transfers, and terminations, working collaboratively with various teams to ensure users have the necessary access to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct regular access recertification and follow-up activities to ensure access rights and privileges are adjusted based on line manager confirmations.
- Lead initiatives and play a vital role in assisting users in developing the skills required for identity self-management.
- Prepare for and support both internal and external audits related to access controls and IAM practices.
- Generate and analyze reports on access control activities, incidents, and compliance status.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational processes.
- Create and deliver training sessions and materials for end-users and IT personnel.
- Continuously enhance IAM processes and technologies to improve security and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in IAM-related tools and platforms, including Active Directory, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Azure AD, and basic PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and discretionary access control (DAC).
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards such as GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Ability to analyze access control data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Skills in conducting root cause analysis of security incidents related to IAM.
- Experience in promptly resolving IAM-related incidents and issues.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commitment to staying informed about the latest IAM technologies and trends to enhance security and efficiency.
