Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV (LGV) Category C Class 2 Driver to join our team at Hireaperson Employment Agency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the multi-drop delivery of goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 2 Taughtliner/Curtainsider vehicle
  • Load and unload cargo securely (all drops are on pallets)
  • Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial driving
  • Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points & up to date CPC & Digital Tachograph
  • Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
  • Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers
  • Experience in multi-drop delivery
