About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Registered General Nurses (RGN) to join our team at Statim Healthcare. As part of our national recruitment campaign, we are excited to offer temporary to 3-month fixed contracts with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a nursing service to patients while taking account of cultural and spiritual beliefs/needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidenced-based interventions required, including health promotion within the NHS framework.
- Coordinate the care and assessment under the care coordination approach.
- Ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatment, including administration of drugs.
- Participate in the setting of quality standards, including auditing, monitoring, and reviewing of clinical practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with older people who display complex behaviors that challenge.
- Strong understanding of the English language (verbal and written).
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and work under pressure.
- Leadership skills to support and develop junior staff.
- Caring, empathetic, and willing to go the extra mile.
