CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading healthcare organization in the UK, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and liaising with suppliers to resolve queries. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong IT skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase ledger invoices in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely payment.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the manager.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills, with experience in Xero and/or DocuWare an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- Some experience in accounts payable is required.
