Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at WAGAMAMA LIMITED. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional support to our chefs and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Support with dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment and utensils
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and supplies
