Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for a diverse range of cases.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all relevant imaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with leading professionals and utilize advanced technologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with MRI safety protocols and local regulations.
  • Adhere to IRMER guidelines and maintain professional conduct as outlined by the HCPC.
  • Engage in departmental audits and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Support Clinical Lead Radiographers in various tasks.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is safe, functional, and report any issues promptly.
  • Exhibit competency in intravenous cannulation and the administration of contrast media.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rota as required.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
