Aircraft Compliance Manager

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join their team in the Newcastle area. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all UK and EU products meet regulatory requirements and are compliant with food labeling and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with all UK customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all customer queries and specification requests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all UK and EU products meet regulatory requirements, including food labeling and safety standards.
- Technical Representative: Represent the company at C2L Project Meetings, communicating key details back to the wider team.
- Project Management: Update the C2L project tracker with relevant project details, including specification, artwork timing, and budget.
- Specification Generation: Ensure that the specification generation process is completed from receiving the Product Information Sheet (PIS / PIP) at the Industrialise stage of a project through to specification approval within project deadline.
- Budget Management: Track and manage the Specification & Cost of doing business budget, including specification, customer portal, customer audit, customer own testing costs, etc.
- KPI Management: Manage all UK customer KPI data.
- Technical Artwork Approval: Ensure that Technical Artwork approval for UK Produced products are completed and oversee approval for BI.
- Team Management: Manage, train, and develop the Compliance Team.
- Education: Degree or HND in Food technology or equivalent.
- Certifications: Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP.
- Computer Skills: Computer literacy (Microsoft packages), SharePoint.
- Experience: Experience in a managerial role in a food manufacturing environment, managing a specification process within the Food Industry, and UK Retailer supplier food manufacturing environment.
- Food Labelling Experience: UK & EU Food Labelling experience.
