Job Overview

Belmont Farm Nursery School is a unique and diverse educational setting that prioritizes staff and child well-being, with a strong focus on outdoor learning and providing children with real-life experiences, including daily interactions with animals.

We are seeking a qualified and caring Early Years Educator to join our team in our 2-3 years room, caring for young children aged 26 months to 38 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to young children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, healthy, and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years Certificate in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time, permanent position.
