Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Porter/Driver Assistant at Castle View Group. As a key member of our ward team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet patients and families, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Manage the flow of visitors to wards, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Run errands for staff and parents, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Assist with coffee mornings and other events, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Tidy up and stock information leaflet racks, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist families with online services, providing technical support and guidance.
  • Organize bookings for parent massage sessions, ensuring smooth and efficient scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Customer care experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Receptionist experience, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Friendly, welcoming, and efficient telephone manner.
  • IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of discretion.
  • Ability to approach parents in a confident and considerate manner.
  • Sensitive and tactful nature, with a strong sense of emotional maturity.
  • Understanding of and ability to learn personal/professional boundaries.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7am - 3pm

Friday: 7am - 2pm

Weekend work may be required, with a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Pay: £11.44 per hour
