About the Role

As a key member of our High Performance Algorithm group, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative software tools for analyzing complex genomic datasets. Your expertise in computational biology and programming will be instrumental in advancing our understanding of evolutionary relationships between species.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement algorithms for phylogenomic analysis using nanopore amplicon data.
  • Contribute to the development of novel software tools and pipelines for genomic data processing and visualization.
  • Collaborate with researchers across various disciplines to apply computational methods to solve biological problems.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in genomics research and computational biology.
Qualifications:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field. A PhD in a relevant discipline is preferred.
