Behaviour Mentor

At GSL Education, we are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at our school in Nottingham. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional help to manage their behaviour and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with behavioural challenges, developing and implementing tailored behaviour plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support plans as needed.
- Build positive relationships with students, fostering trust and respect.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in a mentoring or support role.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to their learning.
