Position Overview

The Lead Treasury Analyst plays a crucial role in managing daily treasury operations to support the various subsidiaries and business units within WSH. This position involves close collaboration with the Senior Treasury Manager and the finance team to ensure effective financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and analyze the Group's daily cash positions and financial exposures, executing foreign exchange transactions as necessary, and investing excess funds in money market instruments while adhering to established overdraft limits.
  • Conduct regular reviews of cash positions and provide comprehensive reports to Senior Treasury Management.
  • Execute daily cash management tasks, including determining funding needs for the Group.
  • Support treasury operations by ensuring a clear division of responsibilities among front, middle, and back-office functions.
  • Assist the Senior Treasury Manager in preparing and reviewing the Group's long-term consolidated cash flow projections.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and analyses of general ledger entries and reconciliations related to treasury activities on WSH Holdings accounts.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Treasury, both internal and external.
  • Address treasury-related inquiries and audit requirements as they arise.
  • Engage in various treasury projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of Kyriba TMS and process enhancements.
  • Provide support and coverage for team members as needed.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in treasury operations within a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems is advantageous.
  • Understanding of ERP accounting systems, particularly Microsoft Great Plains, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the interactions between Treasury and other finance functions, including Management Accounts, Tax, Audit, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Ability to apply treasury and accounting principles effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • A degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field is desirable.
  • Commitment to pursuing or currently studying for ACT qualification.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in delivering results.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to challenge existing processes and protocols.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
