About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Analyst to join our Energy Intelligence Team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance through energy analysis and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on plant performance and energy efficiencies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Analyze system losses and develop recommendations for optimization, working closely with operations and engineering teams.
  • Manage energy optimization models and financial performance reporting, providing insights to enhance energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead energy budget formation and variance analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Support training for graduates and manage hedging and procurement, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in energy analysis and optimization.
  • 2:1 degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of district energy, CHP, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Knowledge of metering systems and controls is a plus.
