About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Resort Safety Team as a Resort Safety Shift Manager. This is a permanent role, paid monthly, with a 40-hour workweek and a four-on-four-off shift pattern, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out tasks on shift to ensure the allocation of team members is complete, maximizing the positive impact on guest experience in our venues.
  • Build and develop positive relationships with guests, supporting team members during shifts to ensure their workload is manageable.
  • Review guest feedback to understand areas for improvement and feed back to Resort Safety Managers.
  • Conduct individual team member performance development plans and coach and support the team during tasks to ensure high training and fulfillment levels.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures within your area of responsibility.
  • Drive team selection, recruitment, and retention with an emphasis on wellbeing.
About You

We are looking for an experienced leader from within a security or safety environment who can support the team to deliver fantastic service. You will have experience in training and coaching teams in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience.

  • Previous experience in leading teams within a busy security or safety environment where a balance of quality and safety is important.
  • Confidence in directing and responding in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even at periods of high demand, and manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
