Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our wonderful team at a beautiful, unique Montessori Nursery based in woodland areas. The ideal candidate will have a positive, fun and friendly approach with an organised and highly motivated disposition. They will have excellent communication and written skills, be patient, kind and caring with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents/carers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Promote a consistently high standard in all issues relating to learning and teaching in line with the nursery ethos and policies
  • Support the Directors and Managers to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring that all children receive the highest levels of care and education
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 early years qualification
  • Managerial or room lead experience
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS
  • Extensive safeguarding knowledge
