Overview of the Position

NCG is seeking a passionate and qualified individual to fulfill the role of Senior Educator in Animation Studies.

The primary duties of this position encompass the facilitation and evaluation of exceptional educational programs in Digital Arts, spanning various levels of further education, higher education, and apprenticeship frameworks. Additionally, the role involves undertaking a variety of program leadership, mentoring, and administrative responsibilities.

This position necessitates a robust background in Animation, with the candidate expected to demonstrate a proven history of professional and vocational experience within the creative industry.

Candidates must possess an honors degree (Level 6) or an equivalent industry-recognized qualification in a relevant discipline, alongside a post-16 teaching certification and level 2 qualifications in English and mathematics, or a commitment to achieve these within an agreed timeframe. Experience in effective program leadership within further education, higher education, and/or apprenticeships is highly desirable, as is a solid record of successful teaching and assessment methodologies.

Essential skills include the ability to independently manage workload, adhere to deadlines, and possess strong oral and written communication capabilities, along with proficient IT skills. The working hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends based on demand.
