As a key member of the CBRE UK Advisory team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the creation of our regulatory and voluntary climate reporting requirements, including our annual ESG, CFD, SECR, and ESOS reports, in alignment with recognized carbon accounting standards for reporting emissions.
The ideal candidate will engage with data owners and external providers to drive improvements in processes and methods, enhancing data quality and ensuring robust and independently verified data to carbon standards or frameworks.
Key responsibilities will include analyzing data, compiling our operational carbon footprint, building forecast scenarios, identifying risks and opportunities, and assisting in aligning our carbon reduction plans with external best practices.
The successful candidate will take ownership for carbon accounting and reporting activities, effectively engaging with data owners to ensure complete, accurate, and credible reporting.
Experience of engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including sustainability networks and key sustainability influencers, is essential.
