Job Title: Director of IT Project Management Office

Job Summary:

The Director of IT Project Management Office (PMO) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the management of IT projects and portfolios. This position requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and business analysts to ensure they have the necessary tools, processes, and training to execute projects effectively.
  • Portfolio and Project Management: Assign and monitor project work, ensuring timely completion, and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement project management policies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10 years in project management, including 3 years in GxP system implementations, 5 years in people management and vendor management, and budget management experience for portfolios over $3M.
  • Qualifications: PMP or equivalent certification, Bachelor's degree, and other relevant certifications.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and pharmaceutical systems, proven leadership in building high-performance teams, flexible, adaptable, and experienced in managing multiple projects and timelines.
