This exceptional opportunity entails fostering financial excellence within a dynamic environment that demands both turnaround proficiency and meticulous operational and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive approach in leading the finance department, ensuring the formulation and execution of effective financial policies, procedures, and systems.
- Formulate and implement the financial strategy in alignment with the organization’s business goals and growth initiatives.
- Supervise all financial activities, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, accounting, and reporting.
- Offer strategic insights to the CEO and executive leadership based on financial assessments and forecasts, cost identification, and revenue/expense evaluations.
- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and banks to secure funding and uphold financial stability.
- Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Lead initiatives in financial planning and analysis, including long-term planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
- Identify and mitigate business risks and insurance needs.
- Oversee the execution of strategic business plans, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Present financial reports and strategies to the board of directors and stakeholders.
- Supervise the enhancement and implementation of financial controls, processes, systems, and team development.
- Ensure efficient import/export operations, including compliance with relevant documentation and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Financial Executive or in a senior financial leadership capacity, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with import/export operations and knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on approach to financial management, with the capability to enhance financial controls, processes, systems, and team development.
- Strong grasp of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to manage investor relations and secure capital.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial legislation and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.
- Relevant qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
