Job Title: 1:1 Autism Support

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work as a 1:1 SEN Support for a student with autism and some challenging behavior at one of our partner schools in Bolton.

About the Role:

This is an incredibly rewarding role where you can play a key part in a child's development, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support, ensuring the student stays engaged and focused throughout the day.
  • Implementing strategies to help manage challenging behaviors and promote positive social interactions.
  • Assisting with daily activities and lessons, adapting your approach to meet the child's unique learning needs.
  • Working closely with teaching staff and support teams to create a consistent and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

We need someone who is:

  • Compassionate, patient, and proactive, with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Experienced or interested in working with children with autism and behavioral challenges (experience is preferred, but not essential – the right attitude is).
  • Able to adapt quickly and think on your feet in a dynamic school environment.
  • Confident in building positive relationships, with a commitment to providing consistent support.
