The Role: Insurance Data Strategist

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to guide and develop the MI strategy within Insurance, leveraging data and resources effectively. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and understand the diverse MI requirements across the insurance business.
  • Collaborate closely with DataHub and Snowflake teams to ensure seamless data integration and analysis.
  • Manage the financial impact of technical changes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Demonstrate expertise in MS SSAS Cubes, SQL Server, and ETL solutions, driving efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Guide the adoption of Tableau dashboards and champion data quality improvements, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of insights.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency within the team.
  • Assist in data testing and infrastructure recommendations, contributing to a robust and scalable data environment.
  • Champion data quality and integrity throughout all processes, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Insurance Data Strategist with a proven track record in the UK insurance industry. You will possess strong communication and management skills, coupled with deep expertise in MS SSAS Cubes, ETL solutions, SQL Server, data governance, and cloud technologies.
