We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Service Technician to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance support to our clients in the electromechanical engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities- Provide service, maintenance, and repair of electric motors, gearboxes, generators, and similar equipment at customer sites in and around Aberdeen, as well as offshore when required.
- Carry out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
- Work offshore when required and carry out service and maintenance at customer sites in and around Aberdeen.
- Complete technical documentation as work progresses.
- Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Experience as a service engineer, field service engineer, service technician, installation engineer, rotating equipment engineer, offshore engineer, generator engineer, or similar.
- Electromechanical engineering background, servicing and maintaining rotating equipment such as gearboxes, electrical motors, generators, or similar electromechanical/rotating machinery products or systems.
- Ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical machinery.
- Engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willingness to commute to Aberdeen and work offshore if required.
