Job Title: Machine Shop Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Coordinate and plan production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff, focusing on skills development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols, with a focus on continuous improvement.
