We are seeking an Installation Supervisor for a rapidly expanding, innovative Plumbing & Heating firm that embraces the latest technologies in renewable Heating and Cooling Systems. They have a nationwide clientele and specialize in the sales, installation, and maintenance of top-tier products and services.
The Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee a thriving commercial and residential heating & plumbing operation, coordinating and scheduling tasks to ensure the successful execution of a diverse range of projects. You will manage a proficient team of 10 engineers and 1 sales representative, along with third-party contractors, ensuring high standards and exceptional client satisfaction are consistently achieved. Your role will be pivotal in driving the commercial success and ongoing growth of our heating & plumbing division.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Daily management of a team of plumbing & heating engineers
- Planning and scheduling work, project management, and direct client liaison
- Engaging with clients to understand their requirements and foster relationships to secure additional business
- Leading and inspiring a team of engineers and a sales representative, providing support to ensure timely completion of tasks and offering technical assistance as needed
- Ensuring all materials are procured and available for each installation
- Overseeing all aspects of Health & Safety, reporting, and ensuring compliance with procedures
- Supporting the ongoing development of ISO9001 standards
- Representing the heating & plumbing division at senior management meetings
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess prior industry knowledge or comparable experience, with a proven track record in operations and installation management. We seek an individual who prioritizes teamwork, is solution-oriented, and is committed to exceeding customer expectations.
- Experience in a similar position (HVAC / GAS / Commercial Gas Service Management)
- Relevant industry qualifications (Health & Safety / Gas Qualifications) - although not mandatory
- Previous management experience or a willingness to advance in your career
- Full UK Driving Licence
