### Job Title: CAD Technician

#### Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at VANRATH. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS. You will work closely with Architects and Designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to Manufacturing and Construction Technicians.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by Architects and Designers
* Use AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS to create and modify drawings
* Liaise with Architects and Designers to understand their design requirements
* Provide technical advice to Manufacturing and Construction Technicians
* Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards
* Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project

#### Ideal Candidate

* Degree or City and Guilds certificate in CAD/Design
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience using AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS
* Attention to detail and ability to create accurate and detailed drawings
