As a key member of our Children's Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert emergency care to children and their families in our two Children's Emergency Departments.
- Support the senior sister/charge nurse in leading the team and making decisions.
- Act as nurse in charge of the department when on shift, ensuring smooth operations and patient flow.
- Support junior staff and participate in the management of the team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical skills and experience in paediatric emergency care.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Passion for education, training, and development of staff, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
