Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert emergency care to children and their families in our two Children's Emergency Departments.
  • Support the senior sister/charge nurse in leading the team and making decisions.
  • Act as nurse in charge of the department when on shift, ensuring smooth operations and patient flow.
  • Support junior staff and participate in the management of the team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills and experience in paediatric emergency care.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Passion for education, training, and development of staff, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
