About the Role

Kenton Black Science & Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Bioanalytical Scientist to join our team in the North West of England. As a Bioanalytical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of bioanalytical methods for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Method Development and Validation: Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals using LC-MS/MS and other analytical platforms.
  • Pharmacokinetic Analysis: Perform pharmacokinetic analysis of biopharmaceuticals using a variety of analytical platforms, including LC-MS/MS.
  • Technique Development: Develop new techniques and technologies within the laboratory to support the analysis of biopharmaceuticals.
  • Report Generation: Generate and technically review multi-technique analytical and bioanalytical reports.
  • Problem Solving: Solve technical challenges autonomously and demonstrate method development as required.
Requirements
  • Education: BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
  • Industry Experience: Industry experience is essential, with a strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and/or GCP principles.
  • LC-MS/MS Analysis: LC-MS/MS analysis is essential, with experience of NMR being an advantage.
  • Method Development and Validation: Experience of analytical and bioanalytical method development and validation is essential, with a strong understanding of ICH M10 and ICH Q2 R2 guidelines.
