About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Fire Suppression business unit at Johnson Controls International. As a key player in the Nu-Form Fire division, you will be responsible for leading design, estimation, and project management on a diverse range of sites and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and hydraulically calculate water-based fire suppression systems, including Sprinklers, deluge systems, and Hydrants.
- Manage day-to-day design issues with various stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, M&E design teams, Fire Consultants, Installers, Fabricators, Local Fire and Water authorities, and Fire Insurers.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of projects, including labour management, procurement, site inspections, client and consultant liaison, health and safety, and all other project-related matters post-sale to completion and handover.
Requirements:
- Fully conversant with LPC Rules, incorporating BS EN 12845, NFPA, and FM Global standards.
- Bring a wealth of experience in a similar role encompassing designing, estimation or project management.
- Possess LPCB Basic qualification and/or FHC Qualification. Fully conversant with FHC software.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, general IT skills, and AutoCAD for producing 2D layouts.
- Capable of producing computerized hydraulic calculations and associated layout drawings.
- Must hold a full UK driving license.
