Sunblink, a leading provider of eye care services, is looking for a proficient and experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to enhance our surgical team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during ophthalmic surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons throughout ophthalmic surgical procedures
- Prepare and uphold sterile environments for surgical operations
- Handle and organize surgical instruments and equipment efficiently
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver outstanding patient care
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with current NMC/HCPC registration
- At least 2 years of experience in a scrub nurse role, ideally within ophthalmology
- Comprehensive understanding of ophthalmic surgical techniques and instruments
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
