Position Overview:
As a Class 1 HGV Night Operator, you will be responsible for transporting containers efficiently and safely during nighttime hours. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely deliveries.

Job Type:
Ongoing, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles for container collections and deliveries.
  • Work hours typically range from 16:00 to 18:00, with shifts averaging 11-12 hours.
  • Conduct set-ups at designated docks.
  • Complete a paid driving assessment and induction prior to starting work.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of Class 1 driving experience with at least 6 months of container handling.
  • Possess a valid UK HGV license for over 12 months.
  • Hold a digital tachograph card and CPC certification.
  • Exhibit flexibility in work approach and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Compensation:
Pay rates are competitive, with a focus on PAYE arrangements:
  • £15 per hour for night shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • Paid breaks included.
  • Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift.
  • Accrued holiday pay available.
