Hours: Full-time

Salary: £27,000 - £33,800 per annum depending on age, experience and hours

Qualification: NVQ Level 3

About Our Client

We are a young and growing day nursery that cares for children of all ages from 6 months to 8 years old.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Baby Room Leader to join our team.

The Role

As a Nursery Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day activities within the room, supervising and supporting nursery practitioners, and ensuring high-quality care and learning experiences.
• Fostering a love for learning through play, creativity, and exploration, and offering rich learning opportunities through play and playful teaching.
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic room, conducting risk assessments, following health and safety policies and guidelines, and safeguarding children, with a sound working knowledge of the EYFS.
• Communicating effectively with staff and parents, sharing insights into the baby's day, celebrating their progress and achievements.
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, Early Years Degree or QTS.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development.
• Experience working with babies.
